GKNM Hospital, in association with the Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR), successfully conducted a two-day national-level Stroke Workshop aimed at enhancing expertise in advanced stroke intervention procedures among medical specialists.
The workshop was organised by the Department of Neurointerventional Radiology and led by Dr. Rasmiranjan Padhi.
A total of 28 selected specialists and delegates from different parts of the country participated in the intensive training programme focused on modern stroke management techniques.
GKNM Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ragupathy Veluswamy inaugurated the event. The workshop featured a combination of expert lectures, hands-on simulation sessions and live case demonstrations. Faculty members shared insights into the latest clinical evidence, procedural approaches and strategies for managing complex neurovascular conditions.
The programme concluded with active participation from delegates, reaffirming GKNM Hospital’s commitment to advancing neurointerventional training and strengthening stroke care in India through continuous education and clinical collaboration.
