To mark International Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Access Life Assistance Foundation (Coimbatore Centre) organized a special awareness and solidarity event at the Lotus Temple – Light of Truth Universal Shrine in Chettipalayam.
The event brought together children undergoing cancer treatment, their parents, caregivers, volunteers, and well-wishers to share a message of hope, courage, and community support. The initiative aimed to increase public awareness regarding childhood cancer while emphasizing the critical role of emotional support and continuous care during a family’s treatment journey.
The awareness drive was supported by CIRCOR Flow Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., Cognizant volunteers, S.K. Social Trust, and the Lotus Temple management. As part of their volunteering efforts, Mr. Ramji Sethuramalingam and the CIRCOR team arranged dedicated transportation for the participating children and their families, ensuring safe and comfortable transit to and from the venue.
Highlighting the objective of the program, M. Jenitha, Centre Manager of Access Life Assistance Foundation (Coimbatore Centre), stated that such initiatives help the broader community understand the physical and emotional challenges faced by young cancer patients and their families. She also extended her gratitude to all the corporate partners, volunteer organizations, and supporters who helped make the event meaningful.
