After a successful start in Chandigarh, Spinny has now brought its Breakfast Drive, a new community-led initiative, to Coimbatore, one of India’s key textile hubs, with each edition adding another thread to the story.
The Coimbatore drive began at the Spinny Car Hub, Fun Republic Mall, Peelamedu, with participants gathering early in the morning before setting out towards Anaikatti. As the convoy moved out of the city, open roads and quieter surroundings set the tone for a relaxed and unhurried drive, culminating at SR Jungle Resort.
True to its intent, the drive was not structured around an itinerary but around moments – “Anaikatti mornings, fresh filter kaapi, and easy conversations.” Families and friends came together, spending time on the road and over breakfast, with a few fun games and small giveaways adding to the experience, keeping the focus firmly on the journey rather than the destination.
The drive has been captured in a slice-of-life film, reflecting the ease and authenticity of morning conversations, pauses, and the shared comfort of being on the road together. It follows early starts before the city fully wakes and familiar weekend routes towards Anaikatti, staying true to what namma Coimbatore drivers know well.
