The ongoing ‘Tamil Thembu; Tamil Man’ festival at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore will feature a cattle market from the 7th and a reclama race on the 9th.

Under the guidance of Sadhguru, the ‘Tamil Thembu; Tamil Man’ festival is being celebrated to celebrate the ancient Tamil culture including the culture, bravery, arts, history, food, and lifestyle of Tamil soil.

This year, the Tamil Thembu festival began on February 27. It will be held in front of Adiyogi till the 9th. A market for local cows and horses is scheduled to be held from the 7th to the 9th. Tamil cultural and artistic performances are held every evening. In this, 20 geographically designated products, which are unique to Tamil Nadu, are being exhibited and sold. Simple practical training in these arts is also provided.

In order to create awareness among the public about Tamil culture, competitions such as Silambam, essay, poetry, painting, kolapotti, and parai music competitions are being held.

It is being held in two categories, those under the age of 16 and those above. Prizes will be given to the winners. The Rekla competition, the heroic sport of Kongu country, will be held on the 9th.
