Piramal Finance Limited has partnered with Muthoot Fincorp Limited under a co-lending arrangement to expand access to affordable housing loans and MSME Loan Against Property (LAP) solutions across Bharat.
The partnership aims to improve access to formal credit for aspiring homeowners, self-employed professionals, and small business owners, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, as well as semi-urban and rural areas. Customers will benefit from easier access to housing and business loans through a seamless borrowing process.
Jairam Sridharan, Managing Director and CEO of Piramal Finance, said the collaboration would help meet the growing credit needs of families and entrepreneurs in emerging markets. Shaji Varghese, CEO of Muthoot Fincorp, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to financial inclusion by delivering accessible and technology-enabled credit solutions.
The companies said the collaboration would strengthen financial inclusion and support economic growth by making formal credit more accessible across the country.
