Veteran theatre artist Kovai Anantha Subramanian was honoured with the prestigious title “Nataka Kalai Nidhi” by Maruthi Gana Sabha, Coimbatore, in recognition of his 58 years of contribution to Tamil theatre. The award was presented during the Kodai Nataka Vizha by Sri M. Krishnan, Chairman of Sri Krishna Sweets, in the presence of theatre legend Sri Kathadi Ramamurthy and Sri Hemanathan, Deputy Director, Department of Art & Culture, Chennai.
