‘Viza Veethi’ that celebrates culture; The 17th edition of the Coimbatore Festival is being celebrated from Nov. 24 to Dec. 1. As part of this, various programs are being held. To celebrate the culture of Coimbatore and the 220th Coimbatore Day, a large number of people witnessed the ‘Viza Veethi’ art program organized by Sri Krishna Educational Institutions yesterday. The program was held at Gandhipuram Bus Stand, Crosscut Road, Coimbatore.
Speaking, Minister of Electricity Senthil Balaji said, “This program that reflects the culture of Coimbatore is welcome. Various projects are being implemented for the development of Coimbatore. The Chief Minister is paying special attention to the development of Coimbatore. A library and a tidal park are to be set up for students preparing for competitive exams,” he said.The event featured 30 cultural musical performances including Bharatanatyam, Parai, Jamab, Valli Gummi.

At the festival road event, music and dance performances by 150 artists from the Chennai Sangamam art program and music and dance performances by more than 300 artists from various art and cultural associations were held. Artistic performances were held from the beginning to the end of the cross cut road.

Collector Krantikumar, Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran, Police Commissioner Balakrishnan, Trustee of Sri Krishna Educational Institutions Malarvizhi, Corporation Mayor Ranganayaki and many others participated.
