In particular, a maximum of 1,200 international passengers have used the airport in a single day. It is noteworthy that recently, IndiGo operated flights to Abu Dhabi and Singapore. This is due to the increase in the number of international flights. It is also noteworthy that while 85 percent of international passengers arrived in Coimbatore, 92 percent of the passengers traveled domestically from here.
This number is expected to increase further with IndiGo starting another international service to Shirdi from the 30th. Similarly, cargo traffic has also increased.
