Chennai: Viral fever is currently increasing throughout Tamil Nadu. Fever is spreading to many people in Chennai as well.
Most of the people affected by this fever recover within 3 days. But for some, cough, body aches, and fatigue last for up to a month.
When doctors investigated the cause of this fever, it was found that 75 percent of the people are suffering from the flu due to the influenza virus.
Many people have fever due to the influenza A virus and some due to the influenza B virus. It has also been revealed that some people have dengue fever.
The number of people receiving treatment in hospitals due to fever has also increased.
The state public health laboratory has confirmed that some people have also contracted adenovirus and other viral infections that cause respiratory problems.

Fever is currently spreading throughout Tamil Nadu. Many people in Chennai are also suffering from flu. Infections in the nose, throat and lungs cause fever.
Such infectious diseases occur now that the northeast monsoon has begun.
Children get infected and the fever spreads when they go to school or training centers. We recommend paracetamol tablets for fever. Cough syrup gives relief to children in small doses.
Most people are seriously affected because they do not take medicine for the symptoms of the infection. This fever affects the elderly seriously. They are forced to seek treatment in the intensive care unit in a life-threatening condition.
Therefore, we advise them to get vaccinated. This fever also affects pregnant women seriously.
Therefore, pregnant women and the elderly should avoid going to crowded places. If they are forced to go, they should wear a mask.
This virus spreads through respiratory droplets when people with fever cough, sneeze or talk. Wearing a mask will reduce the spread of the infection.
