79th Independence Day celebrated at Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetam

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore campus, marked the 79th Independence Day with celebrations under the Viksit Bharat – Yuva Connect initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, part of the national vision to make India a developed nation by 2047.
The programme featured a special assembly, flag hoisting, and an address by Dr. P. Ajith Kumar, Registrar.
A Viksit Bharat quiz engaged students on India’s history, achievements, and future goals. The nationwide Yuva Connect initiative inspires youth to be ambassadors of development through awareness drives, cultural events, community service, and opportunities on the MY Bharat platform.
