Karthiyaini, a 70-year-old woman, hails from Jeevanandam Road, Ratnapura, Coimbatore.

He lives in a row of five houses. Behind his house is about 21 cents of land. The three owners of the old building there have been engaged in demolition and cleaning for the past one week.

In this case, on the other side of the common wall between the two houses, when the old building was being removed by JCB machine, parts of the wall unexpectedly fell in the grandmother’s house area. On the other hand, some stones of the wall fell on the old lady when she returned from going to the toilet, and she died on the spot.

After receiving the information, Prabhakaran, the Member of Parliament of the area informed the Ratnapura police and the police arrived at the scene and seized the body and sent it to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.

On the other hand, the JCP driver who demolished the building and the owners of the land have fled the scene and the police of Ratnapuri police station have registered a case in this regard and are actively investigating.
