Where have all the “honorable” actors, directors and folk singers who came to protect Tamil Nadu, thinking of themselves as “dangerous” and orphan saviors, and who were giving a “counter” to the incidents that took place during the previous AIADMK regime, gone now?. In the capital Chennai, in the middle of the city, a student has been violated inside the Anna University campus, where there is a lot of movement. Tamil Nadu itself is bowing its head in the face of this barbarity. We, who claim to be a civilized society, wake up not knowing where to put our faces.
We have also played the role of a society that respects women and has disgraced a woman. We are behaving like a monster without mercy.
When the Pollachi incident happened during the AIADMK regime, these film actors and directors lined up to condemn it.
Only when the DMK comes to power do their eyes not see, their ears not hear, and their brains not think. Isn’t this a blatant fraud?. Only when a party they don’t like is in power, will they let the “mics” explode and make “sounds” that they are “sham”. If their favorite party is in power, they will maintain deep-sea peace no matter what injustice happens.
Where have actors Sathyaraj, Suriya, Karthi, Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth, Jyothika, Prakashraj, Aishwarya Rajesh, director Pa. Ranjith, folk singer Govan, and Gaana singer Isaivani gone?
How can these people who talk about “Dravidianism”, “Tamilism” and “Don’t you know Hindi” forget that the victimized university student is also a Tamil girl?
One thing is clear from this. All they need is “publicity” and the light of fame. Those who indulge in language and ethnic hatred and cool off in it. Those who earn money by using the publicity they get through it.
Those who are unable to condemn the crimes committed during the DMK regime. Those who fear that if they condemn it, the rumors about them will go off the rails. Is it because they are afraid that their film will not be released? Or is it because they are afraid that Vadivelu’s film career will be paralyzed for 7 years? Why do those who are afraid like this have to portray themselves as opportunistic fighters?
The Tamil people who think of these people as their “heroes” are to blame. Will these people finally realize that the mask of these heroes has been torn off again?
