Coimbatore: A vibrant Social Awareness Rally was organized by Trinity Matriculation School, Coimbatore, to promote messages of road safety, environmental care, women empowerment, and peace. The rally was flagged off by Coimbatore City Traffic Police Assistant Commissioner Mr. Thirunavukarasu at the Ramanathapuram Signal, in the presence of Fr. Martin Pattarumadathil, Correspondent of Trinity School, Dr. K. A. Kuriachan Antony, School Secretary, and Dr. Dhanalakshmi, Principal.
The rally covered the stretch from Ramanathapuram Signal to Puliakulam and back, with more than 500 enthusiastic students participating. The young participants carried placards, banners, and creative models that drew attention to key social issues such as road safety, prevention of drug abuse, environmental protection, women empowerment, and the need for peace and harmony in society.
The initiative aimed to create awareness not only among the general public but also to instill a sense of civic responsibility and social consciousness among the students themselves. The event was widely appreciated by commuters and onlookers, with the police department and school authorities commending the students for their energetic participation and commitment to community welfare.
