Coimbatore; For the convenience of conductors, a ‘touch screen’ ticket issuing device has been provided. 951 buses are operated in the Coimbatore Regional State Transport Corporation.
It was planned to provide a touch screen ticket issuing device in these buses. Following this, this device has been provided. It has been reported that tickets can be issued quickly through this device and accounts can be completed quickly after the work is done.
A State Transport Corporation official said, ‘The new device, E.T.M., is easy to handle since it is portable.
Through this, tickets can be issued in a minute.
In the first phase, this device has been provided to 200 buses. By the end of this month, this device will be provided to the remaining 751 buses.’
