Silver Jubilee Alumni meet was organized for the alumni of Bachelor Of Engineering (1993 – 1997) batch in the Tamilnadu College of Engineering Auditorium.
Tamilnadu College of Engineering Alumni coordinator Dr. M. Seethapathi, welcomed the gathering. and mentioned the contribution made by the Alumni of various batches. Principal of Tamilnadu College of Engineering felicitated the gathering and mentioned about the recent development of the Institute including the AICTE grant received for IDEA Lab.
Dr. Anusha Ravi, CEO, Tamilnadu College of Engineering, proudly mentioned about the large number of college Alumni and their presence in more than 45 Countries across the globe.
In this great gathering, 125 alumni from countries like the USA, UK, Australia and UAE participated. More than 15 of them pursued higher studies and obtained Ph.D. Many of them were working in the capacity of Vice-president and Chair persons in MNCs. Some of the alumni are successful entrepreneurs and some are working in Indian Defence sectors.
25 faculty members who taught them had participated. All the former faculty members addressed the gathering. They were honoured with bouquets and mementos by Alumni. Alumni conducted the panel discussion with the present students. In that panel discussion alumni shared their own experiences, career guidance and other informative things which would help the current students to grow in their future.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by an Alumnus Dr. Omkumar, Professor, Anna University.
