India Energy Week (IEW) 2026 will return to Goa from 27–-30 January 2026, marking the year’s first major international gathering of the global energy ecosystem. The event is set to convene participants from over 120 countries and more than 6,500 conference delegates at a pivotal moment for global energy markets, geopolitics and climate transition.
The conference programme remains central to IEW 2026, with a dual structure comprising the Strategic Conference and the Technical Conference. Together, they aim to foster informed dialogue, policy alignment and technical collaboration to accelerate the deployment of practical, scalable energy solutions.
The Strategic Conference will bring together senior government officials, energy ministers, international organisations and CEOs from leading global energy companies for four days of high-level debates. The 2026 edition features 300+ senior speakers across 65+ sessions, spanning ministerial, leadership and policy discussions.
Delegates will include top representatives from the Government of India, energy ministries across the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Middle East, multilateral institutions overseeing global energy governance, and global industry leaders from hydrocarbons, renewables and emerging clean technologies.
Discussions will be structured around ten strategic themes including energy security, global market resilience, international collaboration, investment mobilisation, decarbonisation pathways, digitalisation, workforce development and energy equity. Special focus will also be placed on India’s expanding role in global energy diplomacy and its efforts to balance economic growth with affordability and sustainability.
The Strategic Conference seeks to provide policy clarity, strengthen cooperation and align governments, industry and finance in the context of the current geopolitical and energy landscape.
Running in parallel, the Technical Conference will convene 250+ technical experts across 45+ sessions, organised into 15 themed categories covering the breadth of the energy value chain.
The sessions will address advancements in artificial intelligence and digital transformation, hydrocarbons, hydrogen, biofuels, carbon capture, LNG, clean cooking, future mobility, power systems, utilities, grid infrastructure, refining and petrochemicals. Discussions will focus on operational excellence, deployment challenges, technology readiness and real-world implementation.
The Technical Conference will serve as a hub for engineers, technologists, operators and innovators to exchange expertise, share best practices and explore scalable solutions.
By integrating leadership-level deliberations with practical technical insights, IEW 2026 aims to link policy ambition with actionable pathways for delivery at global scale.
Hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, and jointly organised by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) and dmg events, IEW 2026 will continue to serve as a globally connected platform for advancing cooperation on energy security, affordability and sustainability.
