Forest Department rescues two-toed ibis bird trapped in bush
The forest department has rescued, treated and is monitoring a two-toed ibis bird trapped in a bush near Chennanur. The day before yesterday, a two-toed ibis bird was trapped in a bush on the side of Chennanur Tandoori Road under Madukkarai Forest Reserve. The people of the area who saw this informed the forest department.
The forest department personnel who rushed to the spot rescued the male two-toed ibis bird, which was trapped in the bush, injured and unable to fly. After that, it was taken to the Bird Rehabilitation Center in the Coimbatore District Forest Officer’s office premises for treatment. There, a forest veterinarian treated the two-toed ibis bird. The forest department personnel are monitoring the two-toed ibis bird.
