Flower exhibition: 18 thousand people visited in 2 days

Coimbatore; 18 thousand people visited the flower exhibition being held at the Coimbatore Agricultural University in two days.
The 7th flower exhibition is being held at the Botanical Garden on behalf of the Coimbatore Agricultural University. Various shapes, decorative arches and rows have been created with more than 2 lakh flowers.
All types of flowers, including rare flowers blooming in Tamil Nadu, are on display. The flower exhibition began on the 8th.
Students from schools have visited the flower exhibition in large numbers.
The shapes made of flower bouquets have greatly impressed the children. Apart from flowers, more than 25 stalls have been set up and are being exhibited and sold. The array of more than 60 varieties of fruits has also greatly impressed the visitors. Seedlings of flower and vegetable varieties have also been put up for sale.
Kits for terrace gardens and home gardens have also been put up for sale. Those who come with their families also buy inputs including seedlings, seeds and fertilizers.
On the first day, 6,000 people visited the flower exhibition. On the second day, Sunday, 11,600 people visited the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue until tomorrow. Since today is a government holiday, the number of visitors is expected to be high.
