Kumbabhishekam works are in full swing at Maruthamalai Subramanya Swamy Temple.
Maruthamalai Subramanya Swamy Temple is considered to be the seventh abode of Lord Murugan. Kumbabhishekam will be performed at this temple on April 4.
For this, a palalayam was built on January 20th and Kumbabhishekam works began. Painting work is underway on the Rajagopuram, Moolasthanam, Adi Moolasthanam, other shrines, and shrines on the staircase.
16 old kalashas from the Rajagopuram and other shrines have been removed. As soon as the new kalashas arrive, the work of installing them will be carried out. A yagasalai mandapam is being constructed in the temple premises.
Work is in full swing on installing solar reflective tiles on the upper floors of the shrines to prevent rainwater from entering.
The Yagasalai Mandapa work will be completed by the 25th.
The Vasantha Mandapa work is also 90 percent complete.
The temple administration has said that the Kumbabhishekam work will be completely completed in a week.
