Sri Ramakrishna Central School observed National Girl Child Day – 2026 with a three-day #Empowerher campaign held highlighting the importance of girl child education and equality. On Day one, over 100 parents took a pledge and participated in an awareness initiative, affirming their commitment to support their daughters’ education and aspirations. Day two saw enthusiastic participation from girl students, who confidently shared their dreams and future goals. Day three featured a meaningful Wall of Promises, during which parents and boy siblings pledged their support, respect, and encouragement to the girl child. The programme “Educate a girl, Empower a Nation!” – an insight talk was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest Neena Arthida founder and chairman of ARTHIDA Foundation for Lives.
