11-month-old baby donates Rs.1000 to Flag Day fund in Coimbatore! Collector, Corporation Commissioner congratulate!

December 7 is observed as Flag Day to honor the achievements and sacrifices of the Indian tri-services.

On this auspicious day, at the Coimbatore District Collector’s office, an 11-month-old baby of Palaniswami from Gandhinagar area of ​​Coimbatore donated Rs.1000 to the Flag Day fund. The Collector and the general public congratulated him.

In Coimbatore, a few days ago, various competitions for children were held at the famous Rao Hospital in R.S. Puram area.

In this situation, P.K. Pranavikka, P.K. Kayalkanni, daughters of T. Palaniswami – M. Krithika couple from Gandhinagar area of ​​Coimbatore and their 11-month-old baby boy P.K. Ambedkar participated in the sports competition held there. In this, a crawling competition was held for children aged 9 months to 1 year. In this competition, P.K. Ambedkar won the first prize of Rs. 1000.

In this situation, Ambedkar’s sisters were delighted and asked their parents to donate this prize money on Flag Day.

Palaniswami – Krithika couple decided to do this and today they came to the Coimbatore Collector’s office and presented a demand draft for Rs. 1000 along with their children in the presence of Coimbatore Corporation Sivaguru Prabhakaran.

It is noteworthy that in January 2024, the same P.K. Pranavikka and P.K. Kayalkanni donated Rs. 8,524 that they had saved to the Chief Minister’s General Relief Fund to help Chennai and southern districts affected by the rain and floods.
